Porvoo, Finland – November 28, 2024 – Sovellusmestarit Oy, a specialist in compressed air, instrumentation, and flow technology, has acquired 100% of MoveRoll Oy, a pioneer in innovative roll-handling equipment. This acquisition reunites two companies with a shared history and solidifies their collaboration under the Dacke Industri group.

Since its inception, MoveRoll has worked closely with Sovellusmestarit, which has served as its primary supplier and manufacturing partner. This strategic relationship allowed MoveRoll to revolutionize roll handling with unique solutions like its horizontal conveyors, zero-energy receivers, turntable and braking pads. These products use patented compressed air technology to gently transport and manage rolls in paper mills and other industries, prioritizing safety, energy efficiency, and operational simplicity.

Sovellusmestarit Oy, headquartered in Porvoo, Finland, specializes in tailored solutions for compressed air systems, offering contract manufacturing, planning, and training services to a wide range of industries. Year 2023 has started strong and MoveRoll production has been busy with monthly deliveries globally. In addition to many deliveries of Braking Pads and Zero Energy cushions which now have become a standard quick solution for improving safety in paper mills, the orders on pressure conveyors have increased.

The deliveries for this year have been mainly in USA and Europe. The next 22 horizontal conveyor modules were shipped in June 2023 to our USA customer. MoveRoll products have been delivered to almost all major paper manufacturing groups globally. The increase in safety and low total cost for both OEM's and End-User's are the main reasons why MoveRoll technology is first choice in many roll handling applications.

MoveRoll first horizontal conveyor delivery to Japan 🇯🇵 has been shipped in March of 2022. This week we were happy to welcome our customers to discuss further the technical aspects of the their projects as well as future cooperation in the Japanese market.

MoveRoll deliveries to Japan will strengthen our presence in the Asian market where MoveRoll has several other deliveries of innovative products such as; Horizontal conveyors, Braking Pads and Zero Energy receiver.

A good start of 2022. First project ready to be delivered to our customer in USA 🇺🇸 . Horizontal conveyors and Braking Pads are the choice of customers for having safe and reliable roll handling in their paper mill.

MoveRoll first horizontal conveyor was installed at Stora Enso back in 2009 in Finland. The first conveyor has been operational and reliable for the last 12 years without any issue. After an upgrade at the paper mill, today we have received back our first ever made MoveRoll conveyor which was also served as first stepping stone towards a range of innovative solutions for paper roll handling.

The first delivery considered also as "final prototype" was mainly hand crafted by our team and production manager Jarno Niemelä (standing next to MoveRoll conveyor) and Mikko Rantanen. After 12 years in operation, the conveyor has been upgraded to the latest generation of MoveRoll modules.

With continuous development Today MoveRoll conveyor is using the latest technology and highest quality materials sourced within EU, all from well known suppliers. The horizontal conveyor is engineered and manufactured using high precision CNC machinery, offering long durability and high quality innovative horizontal conveyors. Moreover, MoveRoll manufacturing is certified with ISO 9001 quality standard.

Customers around the globe are moving towards innovative technologies and MoveRoll has proven to be a pioneer in development of innovative solutions for paper roll handling. MoveRoll deliveries are being used in hundreds of customers and end-users around the globe, including all major paper mill groups Globally especially in North and South America, Europe and Asia.

Despite the pandemic situation globally we have manged to travel and support our customer installations in USA. In addition to continuous orders in innovative roll handling equipment, a winder deck was successfully delivered in the start of 2021.

MoveRoll will continue to serve its global customers together with our international roll handling Partners, delivering existing groundbreaking roll-handling conveyors, receivers, braking pads but also focusing in new innovations for the industry.
